Bhumi Mother

I wake up every morning to step a foot on your chest.

While I keep building my dreams around you. Sometimes stubborn where I want you to yield to my wishes.

Has this child of yours gone too far in troubling his mother?

Where this disease is devouring the saint and the sinner alike.

In this play of life has one of your child been to cruel to you?

Where he sees flowers still bloom, bees still buzz. Butterflies flutter their wings.
The trees bare fruits and the birds still sing.
The squirrels collect nuts and the dogs still laze around on a breezy sunny evening.

Unaffected by the miseries he has brought upon himself, his siblings still living life the way it's meant to be.

Has his ambitions to become the greatest left a hole in your heart?

Oh! Mother wrap us again in your warmth and care.
I still want to breathe to see you smile at me again.

Uncertainty Brews

In the shadows of the past, uncertainty brews.

Is tomorrow the light that awaits the living or a smoke of chaos and fear.

Today I live waiting for another tomorrow.

Today dawns another routine.
Will tomorrows be the same?

While today lies in grace brought actions and tomorrow lives in my mind's distant thought.

Uncertainty my constant companion when I still long for a promised tomorrow.

What is not here today,I wish in tomorrows.

To seal the treasures of tomorrows, I give up living.

If it's a fool's way to not invest in tomorrows.
Then what is this anxiety of the unborn future?

Uncertain are the ways of life.
For it makes promises to none.
Today you're here, tomorrow elsewhere.

Slow down to find your way.

Where are you speeding away?
Too your grave, may I ask.
If it were a sporting event, bring me the championship, I would demand.
Where lies your mind, where you race to your grave and arrive late for your date.
Waiting in the garden, I see you speed off the corner.
Leaving behind what you had hoped for.
Let it be in the winding roads of life, we ride together, enjoying the mountains and sea as we go along.

You're but a dream waiting to become real

Here is another poem I'm sharing to the world.

You're but a dream waiting to become real.

Where I can feel your breath.
Touch your face.
Taste your lips.
And watch you smile.
You're but a dream waiting to become real.

Where your dreams are mine.
Our hopes intertwined.
Your laugher my music.
Our wildness our passion.
You're but a dream waiting to become real.

Your shoulder to lean, on a moonlit night.
Your warm embrace with a campfire at sight.
Your trust my strength.
Your time my eternity.
You're but a dream waiting to become real.
