My sister's assignment topic :)

Q: What is your perception and the world's perception of your religion and faith.

Man is different from animals on one fact that he has the ability to question the world that he lives in and when his questions turn towards, who is god? what is my relationship with god and this  universe?why do we die?,what is the purpose of this life? Why do I suffer? When can I be eternally happy? When he comes face to face with his perplexity,Hinduism encourages him to look within, with a series of steps taken towards self realization, just like how a child undergoes formal education from nursery to graduation. And the instructions for this is given in the Vedas, the Hindu scriptures.
The world's perception about Hinduism,Henry David Thoreau, American Thinker & Author "Whenever I have read any part of the Vedas, I have felt that some unearthly and unknown light illuminated me. In the great teaching of the Vedas, there is no touch of sectarianism. It is of all ages, climbs, and nationalities and is the royal road for the attainment of the Great Knowledge. When I read it, I feel that I am under the spangled heavens of a summer night."
Science has helped me to understand the objective world around me,Hinduism helps me to take a plunge into the depths of the subjective world, which consists of  my own mind. The 'art of living' by which each one discovers for himself the equipoise to stand up to life's situations and meeting efficiently the ever changing world of challenges. Thus, full filling this human life's purpose, self realization, Tat Tvam Asi:'That thou Art'.

Sunday Breakfast ride with Bikerni

Up on a Sunday morning and getting wet even before the day has started for the rest of the Bangaloreans is one of those few things you'll treasure for life, because it means, looking forward to some awesome time with your rider pals no matter where our organizer(Rosh) decides to take this herd :P

On sunday mornings, the New airport road is literally taken over by the Harley Davidson guys. We decided on having breakfast at Indian Paranta Company. Great food! Small little place, with good company and delicious food, you can easily spend half a day out there.
Another ride into welcoming new riders into Bikerni and meeting a few old pals :) Even though not not much thoughts exchanged or your just ordering for food or taking pics of all the super bikes present there then again going back n taking more pics of your buddies,I've just understood that I fit right in. Sometimes you don't need to have intelligent conversations, just watching everyone having a good time is enough to lift your spirit and make you look forward for another wonderful time with these bums :)
We girls were so lost with ourselves in introductions, group discussions we failed to realise that there were Harley and super bike Hunks out there too. :D :D :D
After the official group pic,few of them left for the day. Rest of us stayed back to check out our new Bikerni T-shirts for our very own dress up event :P Sometimes I wonder have we ever out grown the kid in us,just that, when we were small we would dress up to be like girls on tv or to look responsible like mom with her sari or just trying to be more like your elder sibling and then follow it up for your barbie too,now its just T shirts with wordings we love. :)
Riding back in a single file with everyone in sync is another simple pleasures of life. Now,don't you just love Sunday mornings. :)
