A short and sweet ride to pearl valley in Anekal,around 31kms from Bangalore if you take the Chandapur route.Avoided the Bannerghatta-Jigani road,as the road's not in good condition,plus the Chandapur route was a new route to explore.:) There's a marathon at pearl valley,which my friend and I were taking part,so wanted to be sure of the route.Early in the morning asking for directions and trying to reach on time was not my cup of tea.So decided to explore the route the previous evening.Google maps! can't thank enough to the people who created it,who are working on it and who are contributing to it.
Nothing much to see at pearl valley,during dry seasons,just a small stream of water.You have a restaurant over looking the valley.The trail we took for the marathon was beautiful,forget I was going for a marathon :P. Early morning jog com walk to complete 15km marathon through fields,villages,state highways,non stop in 2hrs 30 mins.My second marathon.A ride com nature walk,two of my favourite things. :) A chilled out day.
