Friendship Day

There was a time when my day wasn't complete without seeing you guys in office.

Where moving from last bench mates in college to lunch pals in office.

Laughter louder than thunder. Smiles brighter than the sun.

Joy of heavenly DBC to sorrows lifted over steaming hot chai.

Mornings beginning with Mahi dozing off in bus next to me.

With Spoo's dashing entry, always so excited about life and work.

We found a way to tackle it all with Sathya's 2pm stroll around the building.

4pm snacks with leg pulling session of our newly married bride of our group Bindege. 

You guys made coming to office fun.

A Moonlit Morning

In the early winter morning.
She walks to her moonlit bathing pool,where the steps disappear into the silver shimmering waters.
Her black hair glazed with herb infused coconut oil.
As she gently messages her skin with an aromatic mix of Kasturi manyal, chandana,vaca in her body oils to give her skin that lustrous shine.
She enters the pool offering prayers to the 7 rivers of her land as she bathes in it.
Enjoying the early morning bath with songs and water splashed dances with the ladies.

Adorns herself with fragrant flowers and all dressed to leave that enchanting pool.

Enters her pooja room to pray with fondness to her dearest friend Parvati Devi and her husband Lord Shiva by her side.

Shiva Parvati takes the stage where lamp,incenses and camphor are lit.

She prays for the fulfillment of her wishes, as the smoky fragrance carries her prayers to her beloved Gods in Kailash.

Dreams

Dreams, a world which is sometimes familiar sometimes distant.

Where nightmares dance around you or 

your desires sweep you of your feet.

Memories take a different form and still I live without the sense of my body feeling pain and happiness in it.

As I spiral through the emotions deep inside me.
